This event will consist of an interactive and engaging simulation that provides a “real-life-hands-on” approach to learn the Toyota process. This simulation brings to life all the elements listed below:
Building and Sustaining a Lean Culture – What are the “secrets” to Toyota’s overwhelming successes? You won’t want to miss this session!
Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) – A look inside Toyota’s business planning model that focuses efforts on the company’s key performance indicators such as Quality, Safety, Productivity and Cost. Hoshin Kanri is used to drive and align the daily activities of each team member from the bottom to the top of the organization.
Toyota Way Values (Culture of Mutual Trust & Respect and Continuous Improvement) – We will also introduce the key elements of engagement and motivation that give team members tangible action items in order to “live” the company’s values. In addition we will show you how to focus the team member on “value added” activities and provide a “line of sight” to the company Hoshin Plan (Strategic deployment of objectives) or Key Performance Indicators and goals.
Workplace Management Development System – We will teach a visual control system that aligns workplace management and team member developmental activities and focuses their daily activities to achieve company Hoshin targets (KPI’s).
Problem Solving – Toyota is famous for their ability to solve problems and continuously improve. The key to this process is a different way to think about problems and arrive at effective and sustainable solutions. The presenters learned the Toyota Problem Solving method first-hand and have been coaching companies in this method for many years. We are confident you will find the opportunity to work with, and learn from these excellent presenters beneficial.
David, Mike, and Tracey are all well versed with Toyota’s culture, team member development process, problem solving and much more. Collectively the instructors have 60 years of experience teaching Toyota Way processes!
